The Qatar Petrochemical Company has been awarded the Guinness World Record for the world's largest T-shirt, beating the previous record set in South Africa. The cotton shirt, measuring over 72.2m long and 48.7m wide, was made in support of Qatar's bid to host the World Cup in 2022. It weighs 6 tonnes and covers 3,516.25 sq m. FIFA will announce the host nations for 2018 and 2022 on Dec 2. Reuters
